How to Pitch Your Music Through ForeVision Digital
(For JioSaavn, Spotify, Apple Music & Amazon Music)
To increase the chances of your song being considered for playlists, please follow the steps below carefully:

1. Release Timeline #

• Artists must submit their content 15–20 days before the release date.
• The release date must not fall on weekends (Saturday/Sunday) or public holidays.
• For major releases, we strongly recommend choosing a release date between Monday and Thursday.

2. Verified Artist Profiles #

• The artist must have a verified profile on the respective platforms (Spotify, JioSaavn, Apple Music, & Amazon Music.).
• Profiles should include:
  • A clear, professional artist image
  • An updated “About/Bio” section

3. Platform-Side Pitching (Artist’s Responsibility) #

• Artists should pitch their song from their own dashboard whenever available:
  • Spotify for Artists: Shows upcoming releases before the release date.
  • JioSaavn Artist One: Allows pitching after release (only once the track has earned at least 2–3 streams).
• Artists must pitch the song whenever the option is available on the platform.

4. ForeVision Digital Editorial Pitch (Highly Recommended) #

• Artists should also pitch their track through the ForeVision Digital Editorial Playlist Pitch Form.
• This significantly helps in presenting the song to platform editors.

5. Promotion After Release #

• Once the song is live:
  • Post about it on social media.
  • Tag DSPs such as @spotifyindia, @jiosaavn, etc.
  • You may also tag @forevisiondigital.

6. Artist Pick #

• Add the released track to Artist Pick on your artist profile.
• This improves visibility and engagement.

Important Notes #

Even if a song is not selected for editorial playlists, platforms like Spotify may still add it to algorithmic playlists, which can also help boost reach and streams.

Playlist placement is entirely at the discretion of the editorial teams of each platform.
