How to set caller tune in Jio for free

Jio customers can now set their favourite songs as caller tunes for free through JioSaavn, MyJio & through sms. They can choose from Jio Music library that comprises of 55 million songs and change the caller tunes as many times as they want. 

JioSaavn is an Indian online music streaming service and a digital distributor of Bollywood, English, Tamil, Telugu and other regional Indian music across the world. Since it was founded in 2007 as Saavn, the company has acquired rights to over 5.5 crore music tracks in 15 languages.

Set caller tune using MyJio App.

  • Download MyJio app from Play Store – visit App Store if you are an iPhone user
  • Launch and log in using your Jio credentials.
  • Open the app and select JioTune option.
  • Scroll through the choices or search your favourite song for caller tune. You can listen in the preview mode and thereafter, click on ‘Set as JioTune’.
  • Soon you will receive a confirmation message from Jio team.

  • Open the app and select JioTunes option & search your favourite song.
  • You can listen in the preview mode and thereafter, click on ‘Set as JioTune’.
  • Soon you will receive a confirmation message.

Set caller tune in Jio using SMS and other options

  • You can set Jio caller tune for free using SMS as well. Type JT and send it to 56789. Thereafter, follow the instructions and search through the numerous options to select your favourite song. Then give your permission to activate your caller tune via SMS. Soon you will receive an activation confirmation message.
  • You can even copy someone else’s Jio caller tune. If you like someone’s caller tune (make sure it is Jio number only) just press the star button (*) from your dial pad. You will get a confirmation SMS and after you revert, you will soon get the caller tune activation SMS.
  • You can also use IVR to set caller tune in Jio for free. You just need to dial 56789 and search through the options to select your JioTune.
