Dolby Atmos File Technical Requirements #
- Apple Dolby Atmos Technical Specifications
- ADM BWF (.wav) format is required.
- All audio tracks must be in 24-bit LPCM format at a sample rate of 48kHz.
- A Dolby Atmos track should be produced from multitracks or stems derived from multitracks.
- Upmixing from a stereo version is prohibited.
- Extracting stems (also known as “de-mixing”) from a stereo version is not permitted.
- A Dolby Atmos track that consists solely of a stereo mix placed in the sound field with additional ambience or reverb is not acceptable.
- You are required to align and synchronize the Dolby Atmos files with the stereo reference files for the same project.
