How long does it take for your content to go live on platforms?

How long does it take for your content to go live on platforms? Now that you’ve selected the ForeVision Digitals package and completed all the necessary paperwork for the content you’ve uploaded, it’s time for you to wait. Okay! Nevertheless, how long should one hold off? Although it typically takes 3-5 business days, occasionally there may be a delay due to special circumstances or problems. You might be able to anticipate your material being delayed in this scenario if both the content flow and the traffic are really high. You shouldn’t count on your work to be released at the scheduled time because of the holidays. The process for your content to get live on different streaming platforms and businesses also varies. For instance, the turnaround time for Wynk, Gaana, JioSaavn, Amazon, Apple Music, Resso, Spotify, Instagram, and Facebook is often between 24 and 48 hours. CRBT or caller tune may take up to 4-15 business days. This is why we encourage users to use one of our features called “Go Live Date,” where we strongly advise you to set a date 10–12 days following the submission date. Doing so will greatly benefit the artist for promotional campaigns, pitching the content for playlists, and other activities. Are Copyright Claim and Copyright Strike the same

Are Copyright Claim and Copyright Strike the same The terms “Copyright Claim” and “Copyright Strike” are frequently uttered in error. Despite having a similar sound, both phrases can be distinguished from one another by a few key factors. Let’s first define what “Copyright” means. Original works of authorship are protected by copyright, a type of intellectual property, as soon as the author fixes the work in a tangible form of expression. Let’s now clarify the distinction between a “Copyright Claim” and a “Copyright Strike.” An assertion that someone else has exploited their concept or work without their consent is known as a copyright claim. A copyright strike, on the other hand, occurs when the original author of an invention or other work of any kind requests that their copyright-protected works be completely removed from the platform. In other words, a copyright claim is not a particularly intimidating thing to face, but the claimant must at least attempt to discharge the claim as quickly as possible. However, a copyright strike can completely erase a person’s invention as well as anything connected to the content that was violated. Every creator is a little bit terrified of a copyright strike because it can completely shut down a channel on YouTube. 3 copyright strikes and you are done! Therefore, it is best to avoid stealing someone else’s work and publishing it under your name. The YouTube police are constantly on the lookout for this specific issue. If detected, it may not only end your channel but, in certain situations, your career as well. Also Read: How to Release YouTube Claim

How to withdraw Royalties through Forevision Digital

How to withdraw Royalties through Forevision Digital Now that your songs are live and it is doing well! Moreover, the best thing is that it is generating royalties for you! Congratulations on that! Now what? How are you supposed to withdraw the amount that you have earned? Well, there are a few things an artist must keep in mind before withdrawing the amount. Prior to payments, we send you an excel spreadsheet with the song reports at the email address you have provided; this procedure takes about three to four months. You may examine all of the reports for your songs on the sheet, including views, sales, payments, taxes, and ForeVision royalty costs. If the amount reaches the threshold of Rs. 1,000 or $50, artists or record labels may withdraw the money. Withdrawing money from an Indian artist’s or label’s bank account (such as SBI, HDFC, BOB, AXIS, ICICI, or any other Indian bank) is a simple process. PayPal also makes it simple for others to withdraw money in their currency. The only thing the artist needs to do is email admin@forevisiondigital.com to let us know when the threshold amount has been reached. An invoice will be given to the artist, who must fill it out and submit it. The matter is then processed by Forevision Digital, and the artist can anticipate receiving the money within some days. Are Caller tunes and Ringtones the same thing?

Are Caller Tunes and Ringtones the same thing? Since the introduction of cell phone networking, we have become increasingly accustomed to ringtones and caller tunes. These two reached their zenith in the early 2000s and became a crucial component of the entertainment industry. Since then, having ringtones and caller tunes has been considered “cool,” and things just keep getting better thanks to various programs and deals offered by various businesses. But it’s frequently unclear whether these two are interchangeable or distinct from one another. There is a slight difference between these two, even though they both function as a replacement for the traditional “ringing sound” of the call. As ringtones are what we hear when someone calls us and our phone rings. From the memory of our phones, we are free to select whatever ringtone we like. And we don’t have to pay a single penny for that. Whether, on the other hand, the caller hears the caller tune when they call us from the other end. Often referred to as ‘hello-tune’, It is entirely up to us which song or piece of music we choose to set as our caller tune, and the service is not free. We continue to receive a big library of caller tunes, but we cannot always be certain that we will get the caller tune we choose. Caller tunes can be uploaded by different services. We at Forevision Digital take care of the uploading process of caller tunes as well and it has been among the marquee services that we provide. The process is no hassle and very simple. Just there are some particular guidelines to follow while uploading caller tunes and we are good to go. Also Read: How to upload songs in caller tunes

How To Claim Your Knowledge Panel On Google

How To Claim Your Knowledge Panel On Google Once you have a knowledge panel, the next step for you to get verified on Google is to claim your knowledge panel. Search for your artist name and scroll to the bottom of the knowledge panel. There, you will find a clickable option to ‘Claim this knowledge panel’. Once you click on it, follow the steps Google provides to complete the process.  Google has a few requirements for you to claim your artist knowledge panel. They will ask you to provide general information on the artist, such as social media handles. They also require you to show some form of government-issued identification to prove you are the artist in the knowledge panel. Google also offers the option for an official representative of the artist to claim the knowledge panel on their behalf. The option to claim as an official representative is available after you start the claiming process.  Once you submit, it may take a few days for Google to process your request. When approved, you will receive an email from Google acknowledging the approval of your knowledge panel.  Benefits Of Claiming Your Knowledge Panel There are several benefits to claiming your knowledge panel. Getting verified on Google gives you more control over the information that is shown on your panel. It allows you to add relevant information about your artist brand, and suggest edits to improve or correct the information on the knowledge panel.  It also comes with additional features such as creating posts (like you would on your social media handles) that helps keep your fans up to date with the latest in your music. I will take you through some of the features below, and guide you on how to make the best of your verified status on Google.  Editing Artist Image Photos After claiming your knowledge panel and getting verified, Google allows you to add/edit the feature photo on your panel. Once accepted, the photo is given priority over all other images in your knowledge panel. This gives you the advantage of choosing a photo that best represents your artist brand. It also allows you to change this in case you need to update your artist image. Google requires the featured image to be at least 200px by 200px and recommends using a square image.  Editing Your Info You can directly add and edit some of the information shown on your Google knowledge panel. This includes your artist social media links, website, and Wikipedia page. This is helpful especially if Google doesn’t automatically add these to your knowledge panel or if the information is erratic.  There is, however, information on your knowledge panel that you cannot edit directly. Your releases (including song titles and album info) and label affiliations can only be adjusted through suggesting edits to Google. If any of the facts on your knowledge panel are erratic, you can suggest edits. You can do this by logging in to your Google account and clicking on ‘suggest edits’ at the top of your knowledge panel. As the official representative of your brand, Google gives priority to your edit suggestions.

Best music distribution service in India

Best music distribution service in India? Wondering how exactly to make your music available to audiences worldwide? Are you trying to clarify how to get your music on Spotify, or even how to get your music on Apple Music? If you are an independent artist and want to get your music on streaming services, you must know about distribution services. In this article, we will take a look at what distributors do, and give you the low down on the best music distribution companies out there, so that you can make an informed decision. Pricing: ₹299 – ₹699 per track ForeVision Digital is one of the most popular & largest music distributors in India. Currently we charge just ₹299 INR to ₹699 INR per track. After that, your music will be sent to all major streaming platforms along with caller tune platforms. Our incredible music distribution service gets your music onto all major platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. What’s more, We are partnered with all the Indian streaming platforms along with the caller tune companies(Jio, Vi, BSNL & Airtel). Pricing: $9.95 – $69 per release Another one of the most talked-about distributors in the indie community is CD Baby.  What makes them stand out is that they are proactive at helping artists tap into all revenue streams. They do this through services such as publishing administration and CD & vinyl distribution. Thanks to a recent partnership between Music Gateway & CD Baby, they now also offer sync for film & TV placement. What also makes them more lucrative than other platforms is their one time fees per release. This means… no recurring annual costs! This makes it easier for indie artists to get their songs registered with royalty-collecting societies via the platform. CD Baby offers all of their distribution services for $9.95 per single and $29 per album. You can also upgrade a single from standard to Pro for $20, and for $40 for an album. CD Baby also takes 15% commission. Also, the additional services that CD Baby offers such as publishing admin, sync, duplication and manufacturing. Established artists can even receive advance payments. Pricing: $9.99 – $49.99 TuneCore’s user interface is easy to navigate and understand, and there isn’t a lot of information required when processing releases. For some artists, this is convenient. However, for more established artists or labels who require extensive label copy and info such as barcodes and ISRC’s, this is yet to be added to the system. Then again, the main indie distributors are aimed primarily at the aspiring bedroom artists of today. These artists want to get things moving fast with their first releases, as opposed to major distributors such as AWAL (more on that later!) Tunecore charges artists both yearly and per release, so you will want to really consider if the costs are worth it for what you can get from the platform. Tunecore’s current pricing is $9.99 per year per single, and $29.99 per year per album for the first year. Annual fees for albums are $49.99, and $9.99 for singles, also. Pricing: $19.99 – $79.99 annually DistroKid was one of the first non-major distributors to strike a deal with the hugely popular video-sharing platform TikTok. This gives all DistroKid artists the opportunity to have their music used in fan-generated videos worldwide. Other distributors have since followed suit, but it should be noted that DistroKid spearheaded this! One of the most cost-effective options, DistroKid comes in at $19.99 per year for unlimited uploads. DistroKid do also offer multiple plans, such as Musician ($19.99 per year), Musician Plus ($35.99 per year) and Label ($79.99 per year). Also – artists get to keep 100% of their royalties! They also make it easy to acquire mechanical licenses for those wanting to commercially release cover songs. Users also can automatically split revenue among unlimited collaborators – whether you are splitting with producers, featured artists or investors. Any collaborators have to sign up for a paid subscription to the platform at $10 a year to get paid. Also, Distrokid creates a Hyperfollow page for your listeners to pre-save your music on Spotify, which is a great bonus! One of the only issues is that they have so many users, that it can be hard to get answers to questions efficiently, and you have to use their ticketing system. This involves the user support team closing tickets after sending a generic reply. They don’t always understand the issue at hand and referrals to more experienced members of the team are usually reserved for the highest performing artists. What else makes distribution by ForeVision Digital so great?

Our biggest unique selling proposition is understanding how people have consumed content over the last six or seven years. We’ve developed a lot of data. We know what works in new releases versus old releases, across languages, and so on. Though this is a heavily competitive space, if you look at the homegrown player perspective from a standalone over-the-top standpoint, Gaana is the only one. Saavn got acquired by Jio. All others have telco backing at this point in time. Couple others are paid-only like Google, Apple, and Amazon.
